Settlement that reconciles itself
A stablecoin settlement platform for merchants, pairing on-chain payments with the accounting export finance actually needs.
Overview
Ledgerline is a concept product for merchants taking cross-border payment in stablecoins, where the hard part is not accepting the payment but explaining it afterwards. It settles on chain, prices every transaction at the rate that applied at the moment of confirmation, and produces a ledger export that reconciles to the bank account and the chain at the same time.
On-chain settlement is fast, but finance teams still have to explain each amount in their reporting currency, at the rate that applied when it confirmed — not when it was exported. Doing that by hand across chains, wallets and a payout account is exactly where the errors live.
We recorded the fiat rate at confirmation on every transaction and made that the number the ledger uses, so the export is deterministic no matter when it is run. Payouts, fees and chain costs each carry their own ledger line, and the reconciliation view shows on-chain balance, platform balance and bank balance side by side so a mismatch is obvious rather than inferred.
